4 month jack russell puppy constantly humping our leg or arm!

we have a 4 month old jack Russell puppy who for the last 2 weeks has reached puberty it seems, how can we stop this we are going to get him castrated but cannot as yet because not fully matured

"Humping" isn't always sexual. Sometimes it is social, or caused by being stressed. I'd try to redirect him to some thinking behavior - like doing sit, down, tricks, etc. Also be sure you aren't rewarding him for the behavior with attention. Sandy Case BFA MED, CPDT www.positivelycanine
