Hi,
I read a previous question that a person had inquired about, which concluded that his/her cat peed on their bed. I've had my cat Milo for a year and a bit, and she's NEVER been any problem whatsoever.She is spayed and de-clawed. However about two weeks ago I bought a new corduroy bed set, and she has become accustomed to ...peeing on it. she also pooped on it once. She ACTUALLY peed on it when both myself and my fiancee were almost asleep. Then a couple days later we out for about 5-6 hours and came back and she had went both 1 and 2 on the bed! I had figured she was mad because we bought something new, or maybe because school had started we have been a little absent... but yesterday morning about 6:00am I got up for a drink and laid down again. I later woke up thinking I peed myself! She had literally crouched and peed on ME?! My fiancee thinks she's mad with ME. She has been chewing on my purse lately (something shes never done) and she also took my allergy spray and almost ripped it apart... now I have to lock that stuff away by tying the bathroom cupboards together with a string because she goes in to get my stuff, some of which could be harmful to her.I know she still acknowledges her litter box. She still uses it... I'm just thinking she hates me? I'm not sure why.  Anything you can suggest would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello Kala,

Could be that she simply likes the feel of the new bedset and it could also very well be that she is upset with you for not being around as much.  Either way since it is a new problem it should be fairly easy to fix.  Get yourself some cat attract litter, stuff works wonders, and put a litterbox close to your bed.

It should be as simple as this to fix, if not you will have to go back to litterbox training 101 which I've written out several times.  Do a search and it should come up for you.
