Feral Mom and Kitten Behavior

Question
Do you know how long a feral mother cat leaves her kittens alone in the bush between feedings? Does she leave them at night? How does she bring them food and at what age?

A feral mother will leave her kittens if she feels they are safe to hunt for food, OR she will disappear when she sees people and only return to the kittens when no one is around.

She does not bring them food per se, she nurses them. When they get old enough she will teach them to hunt.
