Question
Hi i have two cats one male 1 yr and 1 female 4 months. I am going for holidays for a month and decided to leave them home. I have arranged a person who would feed them twice daily and has all vet details.  They play with each other alot on their own and are not lap cats who wants cuddles but still i am stressed about their well being. Would they be fine?Tell me about their reaction and behavior while i am away for so long.?And how would they react when i come back?

Answer
Sarah,

As long as the person who comes in and feeds them pays them a little attention, they should be fine until you return.

I also assume the litter pans will be taken casre of?

Anyway, it is possible that after a month they may be a little miffed with you.  If that does happen, I would let them make the first move and come to you.

The odds are the 4 motnh old probably won't care a whole lot, but the 1 year old may take a little longer to return to normal in your relationship after you return.

Overall, they should make out O.K., and, if there are any separation repurcussions, after a week or so, all should return to normal.

Best regards... Norm.
