pregnant cat with fleas

Can I use Advantage on a pregnant cat? If not, what can I do for fleas. After having the kittens, how soon can I apply flea medicine?

It is OK on a pregnant cat and on kittens.  They have not submitted data to the FDA and that's why it is not on the label.  With kittens, since Advantage is alcohol based, I would wait until the kittens are 6 weeks old.  For younger kittens I like a water based pyrethrin spray like Ovitrol.
