and 3 is it possible to raise coral from a broken peice of another coral?
thank you

Answer
Hi Kyler. First of all how many fish do you have in there already? An aerator is not needed unless you notice that there are stagnant areas forming in your tank. It would be much better to add a power head and direct it near the surface. Putting more oxygen in your tank is only a matter of breaking the surface tension of the water and having a good exchange of gases at the waters surface. A power head is much better suited for this and will also raise the amount of water you have moving around your tank.
Most of your local fish stores will carry anemones or you can order them online. Anemones require strong lighting and if you have your tank set up like a freshwater You may want to upgrade the lighting before adding any kind of anemone or coral. You didn't say what kind of lighting you have I am only assuming. You will need depending on the size of the tank either compact florescent lighting , T5's, or metal halides in order to keep anemones and corals alive in your tank. Most of them also require a good flow of water and very good filtration.
Some corals can be fragmented and propagated by cutting but not all can.
