frogs and newts

i have got some type of spawn,but im not sure wheter it is frogs spawn or newts spawn.how can i tell which one is which?

Hi Molly,

Frog spawns (eggs) are more visible. Depending on the species, they would look something like caviar.

Newt's eggs would look more like those little orange shrimp eggs that you see sprinkled on sushi rolls.
