Question
My fish have random black scales that just keep apearing. They have kinda recently been move from a tub in the garage to a newly renovated pond. A few have also recenty gotten black stripes on their fins. And these problems dont seem to be getting any better or any worse to quickly.
 
 Please help me.

Are these goldfish?  Goldfish can change colors throughout their lives, especially when young.  If it's not a color change, then it could be dead skin, with the black showing the body's attempt to heal (like a scab).  Such damaged areas can occur from physical injury, infection, or parasites but physical injury is most common.  If whole entire scales change to black, it's normally a color change.  Koi will also change color but not as drastically.
