feeding baby lovebirds while Im sick

hi I am currently hand feeding 3 week old baby's, I am comming down with a bug and I'm very worried about putting them at risk, I live alone and have no one else to fill in for me. right now my symptoms are stuffy head, chills, feverish. no stomach or intestinal problems at this point, but they might not be far off. Am I safe to continue feeding them. thanks

Well you're going to want to keep the bug away from them, but you can still hand feed them. Just wash your hands VERY well before touching ANYTHING, and wear a mask when you are preparing the formula and while you're with the birds. Make sure everything is sanitized before and after you touch them, and the birds should be fine. Just in case, I would set up an "emergency parent" for these babies. This way if you have the flu or something nasty and you really can't get out of bed, this other person can take over feeding the birds. Get well soon!
