indian ringed neck behaviour

i have a 7 year old female Indian ringed neck that has plenty of toys company and a good view of the outside world but she has started scraping and chewing the paper from the bottom of its cage.  what could be the problem?

Your IRN is looking for a nesting place.  She may lay infertile eggs (unless she has a mate and they have mated, in which case the eggs would be fertile).  If she lays infertile eggs, just leave them where she has laid them and allow her to abandon them on her own in her own time.
