horsfield enrichment

Question
I have two horsfields Herbie and dandelion and wondered what/how to enrich their enclosure when they cant go outside on days with bad weather to prevent them becoming bored. Also dandelion likes to bury himself all the time without eating much and herbie is out all the time basking under the heat lamp. what can i do to encourage dandy to bask and eat, they both start with a warm bath each morning to get them going for the day.

You might have two male tortoises or one is being dominant over the territory. It seems that Dandelion is feeling threatened and Herbie is taking over the territory. This can be dangerous. Try to separate them if you can. Just to be sure that this isn't the problem.

I really think separation will help Dandy feel more comfortable in his home.

These Tortoises do not enjoy or need company. They live alone in the wild and don't require friends or groups. They prefer to be alone. Sharing territory can add a lot of stress.
