wild baby rat-what to feed?

Our cat gave us a newborn (eyes are closed) wild rat. My kids want to *save* it, so I have been feeding a little low fat milk from a dropper. I just read that we should be massaging out his waste and wow, was he full! Mostly urine.Poor guy, it's late at night, so I will get the kitten milk I keep reading about in the morning. Meanwhile, is the LFat milk bad? We are also researching what kind he is...dark grey coat w/white underbelly and legs, big head,more round cheecks than the *pointy rat* look, eyes still closed, we think maybe a bushy-tailed wood rat?
