Rescue for newborn baby mice?

Yesterday evening my mom found a mouse in the dresser in her closet. The mouse ran away and we thought nothing more than finding and fixing how they were getting in the house but this evening we found a litter of 4 baby mice in a nest of yarn in one of the drawers. I have no way of telling if the if the mother will come back but we have handled them. I do not want them to die but I don't have a way to care for them. I am a single mother with a 3 yr old and I have 2 cats. Do u know of any foster places for them in the Dallas, Tx or surrounding area.

I'm afraid it's not going to be easy to find a place for them. You can contact a pet store to see if they have a nursing mom. Also you can call your local animal shelters to see if they will take them, or if they know anyone who can.

I've put a shout  out on my Facebook mouse/rat page but I don't expect anyone will be able to help. If someone does contact me I'll revise this answer.
