screaming puppy

I have a 8 weeks old male husky and had him for almost 2 weeks now. He is afraid around me and other people and will shy away. He would also start 'screaming' for no reason (while sitting on the couch or playing with his toys by himself). Its not a crying or howling sound, he is screaming. Please help me. It saddens me.

This is NOT normal puppy behavior.  I would returned this puppy to the breeder ASAP.  Normal puppies at this age are curious, and may startle when seeing or hearing new things, but recover quickly and want to investigate the new person or object.  Extreme fear at this age is abnormal and could be signs of serious behavioral issues to come.  The screaming could be medically related, but only your veterinarian can confirm that.  

If you decide to keep this puppy, please hire a local behaviorist/trainer to start with you right away.  Fearful behaviors do not get better as the dog gets older.
