Question
i am interesting in breeding cockerpoo's, could the dog be a cocker spaniel, and the bitch be a miniature poodle. or does it have to be the other way around?

Answer
If you're interested in breeding you need to do a LOT of studying.  There's far more to it than just getting two dogs "together".  That's called backyard breeding and it's responsible for a lot of health problems.

So talk to your vet - see if the vet knows a good breeder you could go work for and learn.

For instance, any cocker used for breeding should have health certificates on both parents, grandparents and great-grandparents.  Their eyes should be CERF tested.  The line should be free of hip dyslasia.  And more!

Professional breeders know how to avoid reproducing the health problems of their breed.
