Elderly Dog

Hello,

Just wondering if you have any advice about elderly dogs.  I have a 12 y/o Rottweiler and he stays with me in my townhome, he spents most of the time upstairs laying on the beds and lately i notice he will not come down the steps.  He eats very well and moves around fine, just lately he wont go down.  i was thinking maybe his vision is going.  I want to get him to the vet, but cant do it.  Any ideas?

There are vets on here but to ask them on here you'd have to be very specific for them to truly be of help. If you can reach them, as their most often maxed out with questions, you can ask me and I'll get ahold of one for you. All I can say is that he is either going blind as you said or maybe its just to hard for him. Perhaps theres something down there that he doesn't like? hope this helps and feel free to follow up. =]
