wetting her bed

I have a 3 yr. old spayed Dobie. She goes out and urinates every night before bed. But she still periodically wets her bed. What's up with that?

First of all, have you checked to see if she has an infection? Is the urination spot fairly good size or multiple small sizes? Small sizes would indicate an infection.

Unfortunately I went through this with my dog...a couple different times. There is nothing I could relate it too, either. I just ended up having to crate her at night.

Just remember, you can discipline if you can catch her in the act. It might be a pain, but you could put some bells on her or something that you could hear when she's moving around and catch her first hand.
