Please help me with my puppy!

My puppy "Bug" is a boston terrier/ pug mix. He has a problem urinating correctly. He has been doing this for so long (3 months) so it is not something he seems to be growing out of. He will lift his leg, but not out. He lifts it in a forward motion, so the urination goes all over his chest. He is very energetic so i know his leg isn't hurt or anything. I've seen him pee correctly before. But he does this at least twice a day. We are so frustrated at this point because we have to give him a bath all the time! Do you have ANY suggestions????

It could be a lot of things:

1. If he is very young he simply may not have figured out exactly how high to lift his leg

2. His knees or hips could not be the best, preventing him from being able to physically lift his leg far enough. Both those breeds are prone to joining problems I am sorry to say.

I would suggest either giving him time to figure it it or speak with your vet about what they can do "if" he does have problems with his physicality.
