Question
Do cats get more affectionate with age? Mine is almost two and is getting more affectionate but still isn't much!

Answer
As cat's get older, they get more settled which can cause them to be more affectionate. One thing to know about cats, is cats will be cats. Some are affectionate from the beginning and some take time and some never change. It's also based on breed, not all breeds are completely affectionate. If you want yours to be more affectionate, remember not to force it. If she struggles when you hold her, go ahead and give her a couple pats and scratches and put her down. And take advantage of every chance you get to give her a scratch or a pat and she'll bond more closely with you.
