Kiwi

Question
Kiwi is my pet cockatiel. As far as I can guess she is roughly four months old. She is a lutino cockatiel and lately she has me a little worried.
I haven't seen her drink and when I put a little thing of water infront of her, she moves away. This has been going on for a few days. My mom last night fed her something and afterwards she is usually thirsty but she didn't drink. I give her fresh water everyday and make sure her little water container is clean.
Is something wrong with my little Kiwi? If so, what should I do?
She has been acting strangely lately as well. Normally she is happy to sit on my shoulder as I go about household chores or sit on my mom when I am going somewhere she can't go. Lately though she has been flying randomly. She used to fly into windows but now all she really does is fly around the house from the living room to the kitchen or to the back entrance. After I catch her and put her back on my shoulder, she does it again.
As of late, she has been flying to land on my dad (who is not all that fussy about her but will watch her for short periods of time if no one else can't). I do give her lots to play with when I'm sitting and when I'm walking around she is usually playing with one of my earrings (which are disinfected) or my necklace.
Should I be worried or is she simply liking the fact she can fly too much to stop.
One more thing is bothering me that she is doing. She seems to have taken up squawking in the night when everyone is asleep. For the night I put her in her cage (which is beside my bed) and go to bed myself. Around the middle of the night she will start making noise and will continue to squawk for atleast a minute until I shake the cage and tell her to shut up. There are nights when she makes noise and it startles the dog (who sleeps at the foot of my bed) who then starts barking.
Understand that Kiwi in no way is lacking in affection. Before we go to bed I will lie in bed with her on my chest and pet her for fifteen minutes to half an hour then put her away when I can't keep my eyes open any longer.
Are these night frights? What can I do to get her to stop before she starts? Should I be letting her sleep in my bed as well or is that dangerous?

Answer
Dear Megan,
When you put a Cockatiel to bed they need a night light on. You also have to cover the cage with a blanket or towel. Your Cockatiel could be sick, I am not shore what could be going on with Kiwi. Try asking a vet. Please do not give me a bad rating for not answering your questions, the things that are going on seem to be very rare and challenging to answer. The only thing I can say is to ask a vet.
Sorry and have a Merry Christmas and Good Luck!!!
