Question
my cocker ,(max) is peeing and pooping in my house a lot!we would walk and walk him and he would do his buisness, and we even run him and he still goes.! he has anxiety issues but he would even go in short amounts of time! sometimes he's good and does nothing for like hours, but he has his off days like an normal dog.some weeks he's bad and he gets the regular "no,no! bad boy!" but that doesn't get to him. now for his good side, he does absolutely nothing,"nada" and we give him treats. he can go for weeks being good but really is that normal??sometimes he will be bad for a day like tear up the blinds, pee on every single table leg, poop on our most exspensive carpet, and finally tear off the door hinges(trying to get out)(while we are @ school and work). the next day he will do nothing and just give you a whimpering little look as if to say,"i'm glad your home,i really love you my loving family!!!!" his face , with his big brown eye and his wet little nose and the soothing, calming relief of happiness on his face makes everything worth while. but this really befuddles me.! so if and when you here my story please  try to relate to my story and if you have some valuable info please contact me!!!! thanks for reading my story and i appreciate all the help!!!!! purplestar95@gmail.com

Answer
Max needs a LOT of regular exercise and to be on a predictable schedule with consistent training.

I'd like you to explain what you mean by "he has anxiety issues".

It sounds to me like he's alone all day - not getting a minimum of two half-hour walks a day - and isn't being trained at all.  If that's the case, you're not fulfilling his "dog needs" and just expecting him to "be good" and available when you feel like having a dog.
