Weight of my Bichon

I was wondering what is the ideal weight for a female 7 month old Bichon Frise

Answer
The truth is there isnt one as each dog is individual to its parental lines, the range of a bichon that is of good standing is about 5-7kg but I know some exst who are about 12kg and some as large as 23 kg. Genetics will give you an idea on sizes so if mum or dad or granny or grandpa were big the puppies throughout the pedigree will be big, you will get one or two smaller but over time they tend to average out to medium range sized dogs.

If you think your dog is obese then its time to start exercise, strict food portions and thinking of the type of food you use, most dogs fed a natural diet are normal weight ranges and are not usually obese.
