Our puppy Ellie is very friendly with everyone, but lately she has been barking around strangers. Since we have had her we have socialized her with not only people but animals too (my parents have four dogs and two cats). We often have guests over so she often sees people she does not know. She only barks and growls through the window or when we are out side the house. She also has been very temperamental with me lately. She has even snapped and growled at me. I worry because we are expecting a baby in early December. Ellie is about 8 or 9 months now. Can you please help?

Ellie is at that age where she will begin to try some things on. With a baby on the way the only responsible response from me must be, have someone come out to asses and work with you and she to get her ready for the baby as well as get this territorial stuff under control. Try www.ccpdt.com
