puppy growling/snapping

What do I do when my puppy growls/snaps at me when I attempt to pick her up from a relaxed state even though I've let her know I'm picking her up?

Answer
Not all pups understand or enjoy being picked up. It can be scary. There's really not a lot of information here to go by - age, breed, any other issues, etc. but even if there was, the very best answer when you have any sort of potential human aggression issue going on is to consult an in-person professional who can see the pup and exactly what she is doing, and give you a plan of action which will probably include de-sensitize her to handling. It could be a little thing which is easy to fix, or it could be part of a much larger issue.
