Question
Today my Staffordshire Bull Terrier started acting very paranoid. He would not leave my side and kept trying to hide in his kennel, under furniture, and other such things. He didn't even want to go outside and go to restroom. He would stand just outside the door and I had to stand with him. He keeps looking up at the ceiling. There is nothing out of the ordinary on the ceiling or otherwise. What could be wrong?

Answer
Hi Jessica

You will have to do some detective work.  Remember dogs hearing is much better than ours - maybe he can hear (or sense) a thunderstorm coming?  or fireworks?  People upstairs?

Has anything else changed, such as routine, diet or living conditions?  If he is sensitive he may be reacting to this.

Sorry, I don't know what is causing him to do this, it will be something specific to his environment.  If it continues with no explanation, get him checked by your vet to make sure it is not medical.
