CAN I KEEP A ROTTWEILER AT MY HOME

SIR,
  I am a Dog lover from India. I have a Black Labrador Retriever Female of 1year 2months she is very cool and good all time wants to play. She have a good manners do not fear or bark on any gust, only observe and smell the gust. My father had two G.S.D some year before. Now I want to keep a ROTTWEILER male pup. But everybody is saying to me not to keep ROTTWEILER at home, Its a bland headed dog and too much aggressive and ferrous so avoid to keep that breed, But I like that breed too much and I have studied before about that breed in a Nat Geo Magazine. They are very good familiar Dog, can be well trained and soft behavior. So I am too much confused Sir please help me

Rottweilers are a working breed that requires a knowledgeable owner.  They are safe to keep at home in the right home, but are not a breed that I normally recommend for first time dog owners, or those who are unfamiliar with the breed.  They require much training, from an early age, and much socialization.  So, unless you live near a good positive dog training school, I would say to pass on this puppy.
