Question
Our outside cat had a litter of kittens and we are keeping one of them and we also have a 5 month old kitten we bring the 6 week old kitten in so the 5 month can get use to her and the 5 month old will bite or nip at the 6 week old than she will lick her and bite her again the 6 week old did yelp once we do tell the 5 month old not to bite and be nice is this normal or will she hurt th 6 week old?  I'm afraid to leave them alone fearing our 5 month old will really hurt the 6 week old.

Answer
It does sound pretty normal.  Cats can be a little slow to accept new members, so the older kitten may be a little unsure of the new arrival.  I would definitely keep an eye on them for awhile as the real danger is most likely to be that the older kitten will get too rough trying to play with the younger one.  They usually won't do it on purpose, but they're so much bigger that it can be a bit much for a little 6 week old.
