Now who is Brer Rabbit?

If you go to Walt Disney World, Orlando Florida, and into one of Disney park, namely Magic Kingdom you may just see Brer Rabbit around the Splash Mountain attraction. He is of course one of the main Characters in the Disney Song of the South Movie.

 

Brer Rabbit has a trickster type personality and can be seen avoiding his arch enemy Brer Fox. If you go to the Magic Kingdom and wish to meet up with Brer Rabbit and the rest of the Brer Characters, or brothers, make sure to check the meet and greet notices which are usually posted near to the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. They inform you and what time and location within the park that the Disney Characters can be seen.

 

Why should you try and meet with Brer Rabbit, well he is after all quite a famous Disney Character, you may wish to have your photograph taken with him to remind you of your Disney experience. Photographs like this one will be treasured by all the family for years to come. Remember to take an autograph book with you, they are available in Disney parks but are cheaper bought elsewhere. Brer Rabbits signatures together with his photograph are excellent pieces of Disney memorabilia.

 

When are you likely to see this Trickster Character, well we have seen him on several occasions throughout the day during our visits to the Magic Kingdom, he lurks around Splash Mountain, a ride on attraction in the Disney park which has 65 Audio-Animatronics, the final prop is a showboat 36 feet wide and 22 feet high, It rocks back and forth as a cast of 12 audio-animatronics sing and dance to "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah."
