Love Bird

Question
Hi, would you have any suggestions on how to get my love bird to stop biting.  She will be so sweet, then out of no where she will bit my cheek.

thank you for your question.
Reward her for good behaviour with praise and/or a treat. If she bites, put her immediately into her cage and ignore her for some time (30 minutes, not longer) so that she learns that she did something wrong. Scolding her (or screaming) won't help because she won't understand it, she just learn that you talk to her when she bites you and that it gets her attention.

The problem is that birds bite each other affectionately. It's not a problem for them because the feathers catch most of the bite, but for us it's painful. She's probably not mean, but she sees you as her partner and does what she would do with another bird.
