raising a rat

i just got two rats both two months old and also both boys i got a 2 levil cage with a plastic huge spinner im 11 to so i whant to make sume huts and hamocks and ect.. so whant can i not put in the cage and can u feed the vegtibals

Yay, rat babies! Pretty much anything for them to hide, destroy, stash or play on is fun stuff for baby rats. Avoid anything with sharp edges and never use tin cans or something that could rust. I use cardboard boxes, oatmeal containers and other fun cylinders for entertainment. Hammocks are great fun too, and all of my kids love them. Vegetables are good, just don't over-do it --- only offer a few veggies every week, definately NOT every day. Too many fruits and veggies leads to diarrhea, which means your rattie gets pretty sick!
