always bark at any noise

Question
we have a two yr female bison who barks at any noise.how do we control that.

I believe you have a Bichon.  Although they are supposed to have a "cheerful attitude" according to the breed standard, that doesn't mean that they won't alert you when something happens.  But, a dog that barks excessively can be a nuisance, so you should attempt to train her to be quiet when you ask.  Here's a great article about clicker training the dog who barks too much: http://www.clickertraining.com/node/1125
If you aren't already familiar with clicker training, you can start at www.clickerlessons.com. That site has some great free training articles.  Added benefit of training - it gets the dog tired, and might help her to relax.  If she didn't get much socialization, or she is just genetically reactive, you can still improve things.  Good luck.
