my dog was killed in my back yard

I had two other dogs in the back yard one is mixed with Australian shepherd and blue healer and the other one is a pit bull . they or something killed my beagle between 4:30am to 2 :00pm in my fenced in back yard.  i not sure which one did it  i need some advice making a decision. please help!

I'm so sorry to hear this. What an awful thing to have happened. The poor little dog. I feel just terrible.
I'm not sure from your message if the dogs somehow got into your back yard, or if they were your dogs as well and had been left there with the beagle.
If they were strange dogs, my advice would be simply to call the police and tell them everything you know. Besides being a dog trainer I write mystery novels, and I have a technical advisor for my books who's a retired NYPD cop. I'm certain she'd tell you the same thing.
If all three of them were your dogs, I'd talk to the vet about the situation, have him or her look at the body, and get a clarity about what to do.
