Question
my dog was bitten by a dog we recently rescued he has a puncture wound on his foot that seems to be fine , he is panting allot an seems very nervous.can i treat his anxiousness with benedryl ?

Answer
You can NOT give benadryl to a dog in distress, or at any other time unless prescribed by a veterinarian.

Take THE DOG TO THE VET.  And observe your dog with that rescue dog very, very closely.  Put the new dog on a strong house tab and do not allow free interaction between them for several weeks, until you have adequately assessed the temperament of the rescue dog and instituted positive reinforcement training.
