I was given a quiz sheet from our dog club and being new to dogs I have NO idea what the correct answer is. I would like to know what the correct answer would be as I do enjoy find ing out what is the right way to do things so I dont get given wrong adivce.
The question was
To remain with the litter until the age of 12 to 16 weeks will make the pup a .......... or an ............ Either will make a .............candidate for training, Dependency on litter mates will ............. the dog's ability to adapt to ..................
from 4 to 8 months, the .............. instinct develope. How the handler deals with this, males the differance bewteen a dog who ....................... has call or one who ....................... willingly.

thanks for this.  it was probably easy for the person writing it as they knew what they were thinking of but as someone with qualifications and 13 years professional experience I don't know the missing words!  Not surprised you don't either.

What i can tell you is that it is harmful for a dog to remain with its littermates in relation to its socialization with people and other animals, and affects the bond it will have with a member of another species (i.e. new owner).  Dogs should leave their littermates at about 8 weeks to live with a human 'pack', while continuing to socialize with other dogs too.

12-16 weeks is a huge difference in a puppy's life ( a quarter of its life in fact!), but either one is too long to remain in the litter.

I'm afraid I am unable to help with the missing words - there are so many possibilities I can't believe you are expected to guess what they want!
