For linseed oil, the constituent fatty acids are of the following types:
1) The saturated acids palmitic acids and stearic acid
2) The monosaturated oleic acid.
3) The doubly unsaturated linoleic acid.
4) The triply unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids alpha linolenic acids.
Sage oil
Sage oil is the essential oil made from culinary herb sage. In addition to the valuable flavoring characteristics, it has been suggested that sage oil contains about 50% of thujone by weight. The exact amount varies based on the time in the season and which part of the plant tested.
