Hot Smoking

Wet Smoking

The wet smoking technique is similar to hot smoking but it use wet wood chips or add steam to the setup by including a small try of water. Finally it gives you food that is moist, smoked and well stays fresh for a long time.

Cold Smoking

Cold smoking does not mean the food needs to smoke using ice cubes. This method of smoking is usually done at a lower temperature, around 30 degrees C. It’s because the food is not actually cooked using this process but simply flavored and preserved for longer period of time. The lower temperature is used in this process because it allows the smoke to penetrate deep into the food. You are free in executing this process anywhere but it takes many hours or days. However, you need to make sure executing this process in winter seasons when the cold breeze is blowing around. It is essential to cure the food rubbing salt over the food before taking it for the cold smoking. The smoke come out from the smokers itself makes its way into the food, which gives the food the flavor and preservation capabilities.

Flavored Smoking

Flavored smoking needs to add wood chips or wood dust to add new component to your smoking. Wide range of flavor food can be used for this smoking method include apple, cherry, beech, oak and whiskey oak.
