Weather Considerations

When someone approaches a dog cloth stores online or offline, he or she will come across numerous options in terms of designs, makes, materials, and above all; prices. However, one of the major factors that will effect all selections would be the climatic condition in the area where the dog resides. In cold climate warm dresses like knit sweaters, caps, and even stockings will be appropriate. In warmer climates, light clothes would be more suitable. Also one has to consider the thickness of fur on the body of the dog to determine exact how thick clothes it requires even in winter.

Indoor and Outdoor

When the dog is indoors the owner may consider putting on dark colored dresses. On the other hand while going outdoors some bright colors would be good choice. Not only such bright colored apparel will look fashionable and designer but also will be good for the safety of the dog as it can be easily spotted by speeding drivers or bikers.

Dog Behavior a Major Factor

Most important among the factors influencing the selection of dress materials for it would be the behavior displayed after coming into contact with such clothes.

It would not be good buying clothes for such dogs that have the habit of chewing them up.

One has to wait till the dog changes its behavior and stops chewing clothes.

Dogs that are calm and quiet in nature can be given white color dresses as they will remain clean since the dog would not be rolling much.

For active and naughty dogs dark colors that will not looked soiled quickly would be a much better choice.

Also; for playful dogs, easily washable fabrics should be given priority over others.

Checking the Fabric

Fabric used to manufacture dog apparel is one of the important considerations for the buyer. Clothes used by dogs have to be kept clean. Else they can develop allergies, infections, and even some diseases as bacteria and germs can reside very well in dirty clothes. Also if someone is buying things like knit sweater, he or she must ensure that the knit is tight as loose ones will not be durable.

Knitting should not be too tight to prevent movement of the dog.
