While he is sitting, you just leave the room and hide your self some where. Once you hide, you call his name and include the command "COME" while you recalling his name. Your dog will come running. When he found you, you cheer him up by offering a treat and lots of praise. Repeat the same game including different command. Just enjoy the fun with your family. Its very funny watching him run into a room and start searching around when he doesnt notice you. Dont try to dump him with lot of exercise, then he will get confused.

Continuing this training process would create a great improvement on the activities of your pet. You can gradually find changes from your pet. It would become much obedient and listen when ever you call using the command which you have used while playing with your dog. The additional benefit you gain making this "a family activity" and have a nice time with your family as well. This also helps him to understand the command from the other family members as they are also included in this game. Dont ever feel silly to play this game. I would assure you the real fun out of this game, you would feel like a kid again and its good to become a child.
