Buying Puppies Can Be So Undemanding

     My hubby and I have three magnificent offspring who in turn have lots of friends. A number of of their friends have pets, rabbits, kittens and of course dogs. Possibly you already know where this story is going. The kids have been pleading with us for a while to buy them a puppy. I'm not too sure but said I would think about it.

I did not want to be stingy, however looking after a puppy takes a lot of care, attention and love. However there is enough room in the house for a dog. We have a lovely large house with gardens to the front and rear, plenty of room for a puppy to exercise and explore. Once the children were asleep, my husband and I did a little research online to see which breed would be most suitable.

We read Labradors are very gentle and good with children, West Highland Terriers are sometimes yappy and poodles can be fast-growing. We looked at pictures of puppies for sale on a website, and fall in love with a lovely Labrador pup. We also read how to take care of puppies and dogs, in other words hygiene, extremely important when around young children. It's seemingly required to check the parents of any puppy. Extra subjects, such as worming and vaccinations had to be looked at too.

We spoke into the early hours of the morning and in the end decided to get a Labrador puppy. When we told the kid, they were so happy and the next day was spent in countless pet shops. There were quite a few pups for sale but no Labradors. We even went to a few animal rescue centres, again there were some superb dogs but no Labrador puppies. The kids were starting to get upset so i told them we would go home and look on the net.

You can, via the internet, read about the different breeds of dogs for sale as well as other animals. On the net we found numerous dogs and pups that are complimentary as they are rescue animals.

After a little more research we found a quantity of reputable websites selling puppies as well as buy and sell sites. Breeders and pet owners from all over the UK publicise puppies to be bought and sold on-line. There were many magnificent little things to choose from, however we stuck to our guns until we found a Labrador pup.

We chose a Labrador pup because of their temperament and cool individuality. They are outwardly easy to train, watchful and massively well-behaved when older. This type of dog is also meant to be a great protector of kids. We bought a gorgeous black Labrador called Buster on-line who is now very much part of the family.

The kids idolise him and he in turn loves them, we're all so on cloud nine. Buster is going to be part of our family for a long time so we are glad we took so much care in choosing him. When choosing puppies, remember to make use of all advice and literature that is available to you. After all, remember a puppy is for life.
