Little Dogs Love Little Dog Clothes

I have always loved pets, being both a dog owner and cat owner I usually am kept pretty busy walking the dogs and ensuring the cats are behaving. Pets are wonderful to have, especially cats and dogs. Stroking your pet at the end of the day is incredibly therapeutic and building a relationship with your pet is very rewarding. It is no surprise that people become incredibly attached to their pets and within the UK thousands of pounds are spent each year purchasing animals and their accessories.

Recently I noticed that during the wintery months my little pet dogs were getting quite shivery as they ran through the snow. But don't me wrong they loved discovering snow for the first time, it was just so frozen that snow would stick to the fur around their legs. I was so worried about them being too cold I began to look on the internet for dog clothes. Imagine my surprise to find loads of websites offering clothes for pets! I had personally found the whole idea a bit funny but there in front of me were so many designs and colours.

Eventually I picked out two little red jumpers from a lovely dog website; I thought it would suit them and keep them warm from the frosty mornings. I must have been right about them not enjoying the cold weather as the next day it snowed very heavily and when I woke up to walk the dogs neither of them were to be found! I discovered them in their basket tucked up and snuggled warm. Luckily, the next day the dog clothes I had ordered arrived and I decided to give them a test run.

I managed to slip the little jumpers on easily and after playing around a bit they both seemed fine with wearing them. I put them on their leads and began a trek into the deep snow. At first both dogs were a little timid to get snowy and cold but eventually the excitement of the walk took over. Imagine my delight as they rushed off into the snow, playing and staying completely warm in their dog clothes. Now no matter the weather I know my dogs are going to be up for going for walk, they love their new jumpers and even better I never loose them as I can see the bright red in the distance. I have now been looking on the internet for some more dog clothes in different colours!
Since then I have also managed to get hold of some flashing collars for my dogs to wear during the evening so that I never loose sight of them. Although its a pretty funny sight watching the two flashing lights run off into the ditance.
