Although the phrase “A dog is a man’s best friend” is a popular belief, and in many cases this is true; it is not always the case, many people are allergic to them or simply don’t want to look after these friendly and entertaining animals; however, either for their intelligence or loyalty, dogs have definitely earned a very special space in the heart of many children and adults. The majority of dog’s owners treat them as if they were part of the family and even if you are not one of them, sooner or later you will also fall for the charm that they posses. As a funny fact; have you noticed how many dog’s owners actually look like their dogs? One of the possible reasons is because we want a dog that at least has a slight resemblance to us; if you don’t think this is right, just ask to yourself this question: What Breed of Dog Do I Want?

Although there are innumerable cute dogs out there; we have limited our list to only 10. They are loyal, friendly, cute and will eventually be one of your best friends.

 1)      Labrador Retriever

They are good-tempered, agile and adapt easily to any environment. They are probably one of the most loyal “friends” you could ever have; if this is not enough to convince you; they are intelligent and extremely docile and kind in nature with no trace of aggression – ideal if you have small children.

 

 

2)      Yorkshire Terrier

Yorkshire Terrier - What Dog Do I wantThis small and cute looking dog is probably your second best choice if you have a family or live in an apartment as they are normally very clean and don’t lose as much hair as other breeds; although they tend to be very active, they can adapt easily to small spaces and because they are so intelligent it would be easy to train them; also they are not they kind of dog that will feel jealous in company of the little ones.

 

 

3)      English Springer Spaniel
