Puppy For Sale? The Best Way Ahead

Today Spottie is respected and looked upon in the building society. Well we are not talking about a person here but a dog, and it's not one of those purebred puppies for sale but was found on a roadside. Yet Spottie has managed to earn the due credit from the housing society people, who were earlier apprehensive about her well being and behavior.

The owner, or lets say the person who first spotted Spottie became the rightful owner, saw Spottie when she was an new born puppy and was struggling to cross the road and managed with her sheer grit and also braved a bully dog from the neighbourhood, knew there was something special about Spottie and therefore got her home. It was during this time the owner got a dog trainer and the housing society people noticed a new dog in the compound. There were few noises raised but they were soon subdued as Spottie never made her presence felt until someone knocked the door. Though a pariah, Spottie had something royal about her look and her elegant walk could put any woman to shame. It was not just her walk but her eating habits too were so lady like that any man or woman would instantly fall in love with her mannerisms. Soon everyone was so charmed with her gentle ways that she became talk of the society and everyone wanted to claim her.

Though the owner had not put any puppy for sale board yet he would find a number of people knocking at his door at odd hours to get hold of Spottie. When those attempts turned futile there were various dog breeders who wanted someone like Spottie, but the owner was too snobbish to give his Spottie to any ordinary breeder.

Meanwhile Spottie continued her charming ways and she was a hit especially with men. She too had special feelings and special ways for men. So much was her want to be with human beings that the moment she knew her owner was ready to go to work or an outing, she would hide under the bed or hide anywhere in the house. She would be untraceable for hours together and finally would be found in one corner sitting like a rat. It was not just the fear of losing the sight of her owner for a long time but also she knew the upcoming struggle to protect her food from the flying cats. Yeah, flying because they would climb till the first or second floor of the buildings and try to get hold of Spottie's food.

Spottie or in fact all the dogs have a knack to read people and she never spared someone she thought who wasn't straight in their ways. There have been times that her owner would finalize business deals looking at Spottie's reaction. So when the question of selling Spottie would crop up he would frown and say- Puppy for sale? You must be kidding…
