With propane forklifts, you always need to worry about the connection to the propane tank, whether the tank is leaking, or whether something will damage the tank that is carried around on the outside of the forklift. Gasoline forklifts use an internal fuel tank, and you will find that it is much less of a headache.

In reality, the cost of running a gasoline forklift will be a bit higher than a propane or electric forklift, but the peace of mind and headache-free operation that you get with a gas powered forklift will be well worth the expense. The only downside to using a gas powered forklift is that you will be using a fuel that releases more emissions into the air. Despite this downside, most new gas powered forklifts are designed to release less emissions into the air and be much more eco-friendly than the older gasoline forklifts.
