If you choose to use natural branches such as apple or pear you will need to wash them and make them smooth to reduce the spread of bacteria from wild birds. A good place for your parrot and parrot cage is in the middle of a room. He can interact by watching the hustle and bustle in your home.

Safety is an important priority and therefore it is not advisable to place your parrot cage in a kitchen or near anywhere where there is too much heat. Cigarette smoke will affect your parrots breathing and make him ill. Also avoid direct sunlight.
