The Standard Poodle walks with grace, holds their head up as is if there is no other dog breed in the world that could compare to them. Even with their level of confidence, these dog breed loves to be in the company of their human companions.

Also, going to a skilled professional for your dog grooming needs can assist in eliminating the chances your Standard Poodle will have skin irritations.

Overall, a Standard Poodle is a great family pet. They do love to participate in almost all activities, such as swimming, jogging and playing ball. They love to be outside. The Standard Poodle can make a great pet for even apartment dwellers as long as they get outside for enough exercise.

This dog breed does require a bit more grooming than your average dog breed. However, one of the best parts of a Standard Poodle is the option for different haircuts! On average you a Standard Poodle should be groomed every 6-8 weeks year round. This can be expensive, and should be taken into consideration before you purchase a Standard Poodle. Standard Poodles are a breed of their own, at times they forget they are a dog and carry on just like a person would.
