Labradoodle Training Tips

There's a quote-"Never judge a book by its cover". However, labradoodle face says it all. You can see in the face of this dog how much mischievous, playful and intelligent he is. As every dog desire to please their master, labradoodle also highly seek for the human company and has tremendous desire to please his master. Though labradoodle is very intelligent and brilliant dog, he never uses his intelligence to outwit his master. Instead he uses it for pleasing his master. So, if you train your labradoodle with quality training, then you can become the proud owner of highly intelligent and obedient dog which other will envy of.

There's no specific time for training your labradoodle. You can start labradoodle training from the first day you bring him home or after 1-2 weeks. But don't make too much delay in the training because once your labradoodle learn something bad, then it will be hard to bring him in the track. As these dogs have tremendous desire to please their owners, they try to learn as much thing as possible to do the same. They are so much attention seeking that without your attention; they may grow some unusual or abnormal behaviors. When you see your labradoodle jumping or barking at you, it seems as if he is saying, "Hey man! Take notice of me".

With enough and quality training, you can get the best from your labradoodle. This same dog can fulfill different jobs and responsibilities if you train him the required tricks. He can be your loyal friend, vigilant guardian, playmate of the kids, jogging companion, patient baby-sitter and canine soul mate. They are so intelligent and well tempered dogs that they are used in different fields for assistance. Some of the works of labradoodle are listed below:

?Leading the blind
?Working as therapy dogs in nursing homes and hospitals
?Excelling in obedience and agility trials
?Taking part in different programs with the elderly and sick people due to their loving and caring nature
?Making good family dogs due to their forgiving quality to the kids

Labradoodle are never purposely good or bad. It depends on your trainings and the freedom that you allow to them. They are always innocent and do what you teach them. For example-if you allow you labradoodle to jump on you on Sunday when you were on a holiday, you shouldn't expect that he won't jump on you when you are going to office in clean clothes on other days. If you punish him for this mistake, then it would be your own foolishness. This kind of activity will just confuse your labradoodle. So, don't make your dog confused with different choices and trainings.

A good training should be consistent. Consistency means, training the same thing regularly so that your labradoodle develops it as a habit. You should train your dog knowing his nature and willingness to learn things rather than implementing your own theories and philosophies in the training.
