It is not only people who need to have their hair cut and washed; so do dogs. For instance, you can have them in the same room with you while you use the hair dryer on yourself and they will then become used to such a noise.

Older dogs that do not exercise as much as younger ones will always need their nails trimming, otherwise they will grow much too long and cause the dog pain when it walks.
