What About Our Animals In These Trying Times?

29 10:58:07

Our animals sense all of our emotions. There is nothing new there. But what about during these trying economic times, when everyone is feeling the strain? During times of personal trauma in human lives our animals sense our fears, our insecurities, our lack of trust. Why would it be any different during economic stress throughout the world?

As you have felt things changing rapidly in the world, has your animal begun to act differently?
As you have felt more fear, has your animal begun to exhibit the same? There are a multitude of examples and questions I could ask but the bottom line is, this is affecting them too, through you.

Not all animals are reacting strongly because neither are their humans. To the degree that the human can stay in a place of trust so too can the animal. Our animals are all too happy to reflect us, in their behavior. There are several questions you might want to ask yourself if you are feeling the stress of economic change.
What do you see reflected in your animal that is how you feel, about what is going on?
What traits are standing out about your animal that might be pushing your buttons?
Is that trait showing in you?
Have you watched your animal for positive behavior during these times?
Have you noticed they can still focus on good things, little things, like a bone?
Have you noticed how grateful they are whenever you give them something?
Have you ever noticed that they share that gratitude with you?
Have you taken the time to sense that gratitude, and feel the joy they are sharing?

Animals have a wonderful ability to stay in the moment. They have a wonderful ability to show gratitude. They are basically optimistic creatures, only acting differently if reflecting you, or some occurrence in their lives. Living in the wild animals are not concerned about the economy. Domesticated animals live with the stresses that come along with living with humans. Animals offer comfort to their humans in many ways, if we are willing to accept it. There is no easy answer to living through these times. It takes work, it takes staying out of fear, it takes trust, it takes taking the time to see and feel what our animals are individually teaching us.

Love, joy, and light, guide us all. Our animals embody all three.
