Jamming Home Made Pet Treats

29 10:52:45

Many times pets are our best friends. I have personally had two mixed breed dogs that lived over 22 years old, 1 cockatiel and I am now with my first cat Midnite. Midnite is a rescued cat who came to me full of fear. Free spirited, fully clawed and not always friendly but I know he loves me and he knows I love him. I give him his “space” and we co-exist together nicely. He likes it when I make him treats.

Here are some treats you can make for your pet friends to create a "happy space and happy face"!
Guidelines:

DOGS:
Dogs tend to like liver, fat, garlic, onions, lamb, beef, cheese and fish.
You can add these ingredients to the treats below to mix them up!

CATS:
Cats tend to like chicken, fish, liver, turkey, lamb, and yeast.
You can add these ingredients to the treats below to mix them up!
Don’t give your kitty too many rocking treats or they may refuse to eat their regular meals. They need a balanced diet just like you.

Don’t feed cats onions, or starchy vegetables like peas and corn and not too much tuna!

DOGS AND CATS:

It's a good idea to always add a grain, such as Kibble, wheat germ, cooked oatmeal or whole wheat bread to snacks.

Keep extras in airtight containers and freeze them if not eaten in a few days.
