The hardest part of buying a new pet for you and your family is choosing the right one. With so many animals out there how do you know which one suits your family and lifestyle the best? Atmosphere and location are very very important aspect in your pets like.

Lets say you decide you want a German Shepard, do you have enough room for this animal? Also do you have enough time to train, exercise, feed, clean, and play everyday with this animal. Doing your research is very important in choose the right pet!

When it comes to training your pet, depending on what kind of animal it is, time and patience is key. You must be able to work with your pet everyday if you want them to succeed in their training. It can be hard work but in the end if done right it will be well worth the effort you put into it.All animals can be trained! Remember it is up to you weather or not you and your animal will succeed. Some animals are easier to train then others and some animals need little to no training at all. I would consider one of these animals for a child or first time pet owner. Such as a reptile or bird they are easy to take care of and do not need as much attention as a dog or cat would.

So in considering What animal is best for you think about the place you live, is it big enough? And also do i have the time and energy to take care of this animal. Never shove your responsibility onto someone else.

When training your pet you want to make sure you have enough time and energy to put into it. You can't train your pet everyday for a week then just stop and expect them to remember everything you were teaching them. Also don't get frustrated with your pet even though it might get stressfull at times. Your pet might not want to listen to you 100% of the time, and constently feeding your pet treats to get them to do what you want will not work even though im sure they will enjoy it. When training your pet make sure you are using the same techniqe every time so you do not confuse your pet. Animals are very smart and know when you don't care to do something, so if you try to train your pet with a bad attitude chances are they will pick up on this and not want to listen to you. Be positive.

When dealing with younger animals make sure to be positive as much as posible. Hitting your animal because they do something you do not like can teach them to be aggressive torward you and others. "BAD, NO, WHATS THIS" are all good words to using when teaching your pet to relize what they did was wrong. They are trying to impress you and make you happy if they know you are upset with them this will help them to remember that you didnt like what they did so they shouldnt do it anymore.

Training a pet takes lots of time and effort. You may want to give up but just think about what a great pet you will have once you are done training. Remember old dogs CAN learn new tricks. Its all up to how you go about teaching them. Be positive and they will respond greatly.
